Privacy Policy
Effective August 14, 2026
At a glance
- There are no user accounts. We do not ask for or store your name, email address, or phone number.
- Your watchlist and stock option holdings are stored only inside your own browser and are not sent to our server.
- We use Google Analytics to measure visits, and in the process cookies and connection information are transmitted to Google in the United States.
1.Information we collect and how it is collected
This service has no sign-up process, and we do not ask you to enter your name, email address, phone number, or similar details. The following information is generated and collected automatically as you use the service.
- Visit analytics (Google Analytics)
- The browser identifier stored in a cookie, IP address, browser, operating system and device type, pages visited and time spent on them, referral path, and date and time of access
- Service access logs
- IP address, browser information (User-Agent), the address requested and the response returned, and date and time of access (recorded automatically by the hosting provider)
2.Information stored only in your browser
The items below are kept only in your device's browser storage (localStorage). They are not transmitted to our server and are not stored in any form the operator can read. Clearing your browser data deletes them as well.
- Watchlist
- The list of ticker codes you have saved (up to 100)
- Stock option holdings
- The grant filing receipt numbers and share counts you entered (up to 50 entries)
- Recent searches
- Companies you looked up recently in the search box
That said, drawing these lists on screen requires fetching filing data for those companies from the server, so ticker codes and filing receipt numbers are included in the lookup request. The number of shares you entered is not transmitted, and the contents of the request are not stored separately.
3.Purposes of use
We use the information collected only for the purposes below. We do not use it for any other purpose and do not attempt to identify individual users.
- Analyzing how the service is used — visitor counts, referral paths, popular pages, and the like
- Managing service quality, including checking for errors and improving performance
- Responding to security threats such as abnormal bulk requests
4.Retention and use period
- Google Analytics data
- Deleted automatically 14 months after collection (figures already aggregated into statistics are kept without a time limit)
- Service access logs
- Retained and then deleted automatically under the hosting provider's log retention policy
- Items stored in your browser
- Until you delete them. The operator has neither the ability to delete them nor the ability to read them.
5.Processing entrusted to others and transfers abroad
We use the infrastructure of the providers below to operate the service, and in the process the information described in clause 1 is stored and processed outside Korea. You may refuse these transfers; the way to refuse is described in clause 6. Access logs, however, are essential to providing the service, so refusing them makes the service difficult to use.
- Google LLC (United States)
- Visit analytics. Transmitted over the network when you open a page; the items are the same as 'Visit analytics' in clause 1.
- Vercel Inc. (United States)
- Website hosting. Recorded automatically in server logs at the time of access.
The database that holds filing data stores no information that can identify an individual. Apart from the above, we do not provide or sell your information to third parties.
6.How to refuse collection
You may refuse collection at any time by the following means.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies still leaves the filing lookup features fully usable.
- Installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on stops analytics collection on every site, including this one.
- Your browser's clear-site-data function immediately erases your watchlist, stock option holdings, and recent searches.
7.Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information. However, because this service keeps no information that can identify a user, locating and acting on a particular user's records is technically impossible. For items stored in your browser, deleting them yourself is the most reliable method.
8.Children under 14
This service is not directed at children under 14 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9.Security measures
- All communication is encrypted with HTTPS.
- The filing database is exposed with read-only permissions, and write permissions are used only from the server.
- Access to the analytics tool is restricted to the operator's account.
10.Privacy officer
- Officer
- Josh (operator, Korea Stock Option Tracker)
- Contact
- osung5858@gmail.com
Send questions or complaints about the handling of personal information to the address above and we will respond without delay. If you need to report or seek advice about a privacy violation elsewhere, you may contact 개인정보침해신고센터 (Korea's Personal Information Infringement Report Center; privacy.kisa.or.kr, 118 with no area code) or 개인정보 분쟁조정위원회 (the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee; kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972).
11.Changes to this policy
When we change this policy because the law or the service has changed, we will post the changes on this page and update the effective date. Significant changes, such as adding items collected or purposes of use, will be announced at least 7 days before they take effect.
